ANTALYA – Antalya continues to solidify its position as a global tourism powerhouse, welcoming over 16.3 million international passengers between January and November, according to the latest figures from the Antalya Airport Civil Administration.
Russia and Germany Lead the Surge
Russia remains the primary driver of tourism in the region, securing the top spot with 3,922,287 arrivals. Germany followed closely in second place with 3,449,916 passengers. Notably, the data reveals that one out of every four tourists arriving in Antalya by air hailed from either Russia or Germany.
The United Kingdom maintained its position as a significant market, ranking third with 1,501,068 arrivals, followed by Poland with 1,269,547 and the Netherlands with 423,964.

Data released by the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) underscores the sheer scale of operations at Antalya Airport. During the 11-month period, the international terminal handled 187,571 flights.
This high volume of traffic translates to an average of 561 flights per day, or approximately 23 flights every hour. Total international passenger traffic—including both arrivals and departures—reached a staggering 31,641,028 for the period.
